Kenya is Drowning

Donate to Support Emergency Relief Efforts for Devastating Floods in Kenya

Over 300,000 people have been displaced and more than 315 lives lost due to severe flooding in Kenya, worsened by climate change. This disaster has devastated communities, particularly in informal settlements and villages, leading to limited access to clean water, sanitation, and healthcare.

Maureen Njambi, from Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, heroically saved her pregnant neighbor and her children when a dam burst due to relentless rains. Now living in a makeshift camp, Maureen and her family, including her two young children, struggle with basic needs and healthcare access.

This is a humanitarian and public health emergency crisis and the families displaced by floods require urgent assistance in meeting their basic needs and rebuilding their lives.
